| Mohamed bin Zayed Meets with Heads of Delegations Talks |
The UAE President meets with the heads of delegations in trilateral talks to resolve the Ukraine crisis.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, met on Friday with the heads of delegations participating in the trilateral talks between the United States, Russia, and Ukraine, hosted by the UAE. The talks aim to promote dialogue and find political solutions to the Ukrainian crisis.
The talks, which began today in Abu Dhabi, include US Presidential Envoys Steve Witkopf and Jared Kushner, Chief of the Main Directorate of the Russian General Staff, Igor Kostyukov, Director of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and a number of other senior officials from Russia and Ukraine, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The UAE President expressed his wishes for the negotiators' success in their talks and for positive outcomes that contribute to ending the years-long crisis.
He emphasized the UAE's steadfast approach of encouraging constructive dialogue and supporting all efforts that promote diplomatic solutions to various crises and conflicts. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed stated that the UAE supports all efforts and initiatives aimed at finding a settlement to the Ukrainian crisis that benefits all parties and strengthens the foundations of peace and stability in the world.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs' Families Affairs; and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Also present were the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the United Arab Emirates; and a number of ministers and senior state officials.
