US Investigation Links 25 Child Deaths to COVID-19 Vaccine: What's the Story?

Amid ongoing investigations by US government medical departments into the effects of vaccines, particularly COVID-19, four people familiar with the matter revealed that health officials are planning to link COVID-19 vaccines to the deaths of 25 children, while considering restrictions on these vaccines.

They also explained that the officials' findings appear to be based on information submitted to the Federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, which contains unverified reports of side effects or adverse experiences with vaccines, according to the Washington Post. Furthermore, the information revealed that health officials in the Trump administration plan to include the reported deaths of these children in a presentation next week to an expert panel of advisors to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which is considering new recommendations regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.

"Periodic Analysis"

For its part, the Department of Health clarified in an emailed response that staff at the FDA and the CDC periodically analyze the vaccine adverse event reporting system and other safety monitoring data. It added that until vaccine safety data is made public, this should be considered "speculation."

FDA Commissioner Marty McCurry said in an interview last week with CNN that "children have died from the COVID vaccine," citing the self-reported adverse event reporting database for vaccines. He confirmed that the agency is "conducting a proper investigation," noting that it plans to release a report in the coming weeks.

This investigation came just days after US President Donald Trump posted a video on his Truth Social platform containing unsubstantiated claims that vaccines contain toxic ingredients. The video featured Mark and David Geyer, a father-son research team, claiming that the preservative thimerosal in vaccines is "toxic and causes autism and other neurological disorders." However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention emphasized that there is no evidence that this substance causes health risks.

This information also comes amidst a wave of criticism directed at Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy, who is known for his general dislike of vaccines and his promotion of unscientific theories. Kennedy also raised questions after his dismissal last June of all 17 experts on a key vaccine advisory group.
