The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) announced the successful implementation of the approved evacuation plans for UAE citizens residing in several countries.

Approximately 6,000 citizens and their companions returned safely and securely to the UAE through various land and air ports, in coordination with relevant authorities within the UAE.

These operations are part of the UAE's integrated national system, which is based on flexibility, constant readiness, rapid response, and preparedness to confront various emergency and crisis scenarios, and to deal with their developments efficiently, professionally, and effectively.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NCEMA indicated that the high efficiency demonstrated in the evacuation operations and the safe return of UAE citizens and their companions reflects the utmost priority the UAE places on protecting and caring for its citizens wherever they may be, starting with a rapid response to current events, continuous monitoring, and coordination and communication with various relevant authorities in the country.

In addition to cooperating with the UAE's diplomatic missions abroad, which played a pivotal role in direct communication with the relevant local authorities in the countries where evacuations took place, to coordinate the travel of UAE citizens who were unable to return to the UAE due to the current regional developments.

Some of these flights also included a number of residents abroad who were unable to return to the country due to the airspace closures. This reflects the UAE's deeply rooted humanitarian approach to caring for and supporting all those living within its borders, considering them an integral part of its social fabric, a trust, a responsibility, and a priority in all circumstances.

In this context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its call for UAE citizens to register with the "My Presence" service and to contact the dedicated emergency number for UAE citizens abroad, +97180024, in case of emergencies and crises.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) also urged continued adherence to the directives and instructions issued by the relevant authorities, both within and outside the country, and to obtain information exclusively from official and approved channels, avoiding the spread of rumors or unreliable information.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority affirmed the continued full readiness of all state institutions to monitor regional developments and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens and residents, within a comprehensive national system based on efficiency, coordination, and rapid response.
