Socotra Island witnessed a large public march in which residents expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the humanitarian and developmental role played by the United Arab Emirates.
Participants in the march raised banners and signs expressing their appreciation for the significant support provided by the UAE across various service and development sectors. They emphasized that this support has tangibly contributed to improving the level of services and infrastructure on the island.
The people of Socotra praised "the Emirati projects in the fields of health, education, electricity, water, and roads, in addition to humanitarian relief and sustainable development efforts, which have had a direct and positive impact on the lives of citizens."
