Kamel El-Wazir affirms Egypt's pride in its ongoing communication with the UAE's political leadership
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received the ministers participating in the second edition of the Global Rail 2025 Exhibition and Congress, hosted by Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, which took place at the Qasr Al Bahr Majlis in Abu Dhabi, he welcomed the ministers participating in the conference, which serves as a platform that brings together a select group of decision-makers, industry leaders, and experts from around the world to exchange visions and ideas and find innovative solutions that contribute to achieving a better future for the sector and accelerating the transition towards more integrated and sustainable transportation systems.
During the meeting, Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. El-Wazir emphasized the depth and strength of bilateral relations between Egypt and the UAE, and Egypt's pride in its ongoing engagement with the Emirati political leadership through high-level mutual visits.
These strong relations, most recently witnessed by Egypt's distinguished guest, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, who met with his brother, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, last Monday, are testament to Cairo's keenness to ensure that these meetings provide a driving force for the two countries' institutions to work towards further cooperation and coordination that meets the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, especially given the strong and historic relations between the two countries.
The ministers participating in the Global Rail 2025 Exhibition and Conference expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Highness for the UAE's hosting of the conference and exhibition, praising the UAE's advanced infrastructure and transportation system. The meeting was attended by a number of sheikhs and senior officials.
