UAE holds humanitarian conference to support Sudanese people with $200 million in relief aid


The humanitarian conference to support the Sudanese people was held in Addis Ababa, organized by the UAE and its African partners.


The conference comes in the context of securing the entry of humanitarian aid without conditions and securing safe corridors for relief organizations to carry out their relief work. During the conference, the UAE announced additional funding worth $200 million to support humanitarian efforts in Sudan.


The humanitarian conference to support the Sudanese people was held in Addis Ababa, organized by the UAE and its African partners.



The conference participants stressed the importance of securing humanitarian corridors and facilitating the work of relief organizations inside Sudan, while stopping the war machine during the month of Ramadan. The conference pointed out that the humanitarian crisis in Sudan is one of the worst crises that the African continent has experienced in decades.


The United Arab Emirates continues its great humanitarian role in providing support to every needy person on earth, as the giving and humanitarian approach continues during the era of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.


 The Emirates is considered the largest donor of humanitarian aid around the world, which confirms the stability and continuity of the historical role of the Emirates since the era of Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Khalifa, may God have mercy on them, in providing humanitarian aid.
