Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) will lead the KSA Pavilion at IDEX 2023, one of the world’s leading defense shows, to expand the Kingdom’s global footprint and position it as a leading global defense player.
The Saudi pavilion is showcasing major national institutions and companies specialized in the field of military, defense and security industries. The Ministry of Interior's participation also underscores Saudi Arabia's unremitting support for the military and security industries sector.
The Saudi delegation will present global investors with a unique opportunity to connect with officials from the Saudi Ministry of Interior, World Defense Show (WDS), and 14 private sector operating in the Kingdom’s defense sector. GAMI will showcase exciting initiatives aimed at international investors.
The 16th edition of IDEX and the 7th Naval Defense and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) kicked off with the participation of more than 1,350 companies, reported the United Arab Emirates’ state news agency WAM.
The five-day events are being held under the patronage of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense.
This year's edition, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the launch of IDEX, is set to be the largest in the history of the event, attracting participants from all over the world to showcase the latest advancements in the international defense sector.
The current edition of NAVDEX will witness the participation of a number of naval vessels from seven countries, namely Pakistan, Bahrain, the United Kingdom, Italy, China, India and the UAE.
