ADNOC Wins 14 Awards at the Middle East Oil & Gas Awards
ADNOC has won 14 awards at the 2026 Middle East Oil & Gas Awards, presented by Oil & Gas Middle East, reaffirming its reliability, resilience, and the excellence of its workforce and operational processes.
ADNOC achieved exceptional results at the awards ceremony held in Dubai, winning nearly half of the awards. This reflects its established position as a leading and innovative global energy company that has successfully grown and transformed itself in recent years.
Numerous individuals and projects from across the ADNOC Group were recognized for their outstanding performance across the energy value chain, operational excellence, successful use of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence tools and solutions, and responsible energy production.
The awards also highlight the excellence of the executive management teams, talent empowerment efforts, and continuous progress in safety, emissions reduction, and major project execution.
The awards cover exploration, development, and production; refining, manufacturing, and marketing; as well as technical, digital, and support functions, underscoring the proven capabilities across ADNOC’s integrated business portfolio.
Musabbeh Al Kaabi, ADNOC’s Executive Director of Exploration, Development, and Production, said that the Middle East Oil & Gas Awards recognize the exceptional achievements of the people, projects, and operations that form the foundation of ADNOC’s reliability, resilience, and focus on delivering long-term, sustainable value.
The Unsung Hero award went to Elyazia Al Kaabi, a pipeline engineer at ADNOC Sour Gas; the Sustainability Champion of the Year award to Samar Al Hamidi, Vice President of Climate Change at ADNOC Group; the Rising Energy Star award to Basma Al Bishr, Head of Planning and Performance at ADNOC Offshore; and the Energy Woman of the Year award to Shamma Al Shehhi, Director of Wells and Petroleum Engineering at ADNOC.
The Talent Empowerment award went to ADNOC Offshore for its “Itqan” program, which accelerates the development of future Emirati talent; the Energy Transformation Project of the Year award to ADNOC Gas for its carbon capture and injection project; and the Energy Innovator of the Year award to ADNOC Sour Gas for its energy efficiency improvements in sulfur recovery units.
