The UAE continues to solidify its position as one of the world's most attractive destinations for establishing businesses and launching entrepreneurs.

This is driven by a sophisticated legislative and regulatory framework, advanced digital and logistical infrastructure, and flexible economic policies that have enhanced its ability to attract talent, investments, and startups, enabling it to compete with the world's largest and most advanced economies in this field.

Experts and business leaders affirmed that the UAE's continued leadership in international indicators related to establishing and leading businesses reflects the success of its economic model in building an integrated system that encompasses all the requirements for success, according to the official Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Diana Seche, Founder and CEO of CICHE International Trade & Investment, a company specializing in international trade, stated that the UAE is among the most attractive destinations for businesses and startups globally, thanks to its strategic location connecting Europe, Asia, and Africa, in addition to its advanced infrastructure and flexible regulatory environment that supports international growth and expansion.

She added that the UAE's geographic location allows access to billions of consumers within a single flight, while its growing air network reinforces its position as a global hub for business and trade. She noted that free zones, full foreign ownership, ease of company establishment, and the Golden Visa for investors, entrepreneurs, and skilled professionals have enhanced the country's appeal for attracting talent and investment.

For his part, Willem van Wyk, Managing Director of HDI Global's Dubai office, said that the UAE has established itself as an attractive destination for startups, entrepreneurs, and innovation-driven companies, thanks to its advanced regulatory frameworks, sophisticated digital infrastructure, and unwavering focus on innovation.

He added that this momentum has solidified the UAE's position as a leading fintech hub, through a model that balances accelerating innovation with strengthening regulatory frameworks, underpinned by an advanced ecosystem led by entities such as the Central Bank of the UAE, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

He added that the UAE's selection as a launchpad, rather than global hubs like San Francisco or London, was based on clear and practical considerations. He explained that the country has successfully removed obstacles to the fundamental pillars of business development, namely infrastructure, policies, capital, and market access.

He noted that the UAE was among only four countries that met or exceeded the required criteria in all aspects of the Global Entrepreneurship Index.

International reports have shown that the UAE has successfully built an integrated business environment that supports the establishment of new projects and accelerates their growth and global expansion. Furthermore, the UAE supports state institutions across all sectors, including ministries and departments, in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, and leads a range of initiatives that promote innovation and entrepreneurship.

For its part, Hub71 supports promising startups in accelerating their growth journey by connecting them with investors and partners to facilitate access to investments and the closing of business deals. It also offers a range of programs and incentives to empower startups to grow at various stages of their development.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Innovation Fund is designed for entrepreneurs and innovators, aiming to support them in overcoming challenges and providing programs to meet the diverse needs of each innovator.

For the fifth consecutive year, the UAE topped the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 2025-2026 report, outperforming many advanced economies and ranking among the top five countries in terms of its startups' ability to access international markets.

Similarly, the StartupBlink Business Environment Index, published by a platform specializing in research on entrepreneurship and startup ecosystems, ranked the UAE among the top five global business environments and first in the region.
