Global Solidarity with the UAE: Mohammed bin Zayed Receives 34 Calls in 48 Hours


Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received 34 phone calls expressing solidarity from leaders of 32 countries around the world within 48 hours.


During these calls, world leaders and heads of government expressed their countries' solidarity with the UAE, condemning the blatant Iranian attacks that targeted the UAE and several other brotherly nations in the region.


This unprecedented solidarity, along with condemnations and sanctions, underscores the UAE's stature and influence in the region and the world.


The Iranian attack on the UAE, which continued for a second day on Sunday, was part of a series of Iranian attacks targeting several Gulf and regional countries. This escalation comes amidst a broader military confrontation between Iran on one side, and Israel and the United States on the other. The attacks have been met with widespread condemnation and rejection, particularly those targeting countries that have long sought to avoid such a war, most notably the UAE.


Over the course of Saturday and Sunday, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received 34 phone calls from leaders and heads of government of 32 countries across the globe. These included leaders from Arab, Gulf, European, African, and Asian nations, as well as US President Donald Trump and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.


These calls demonstrated the world's support for the UAE, expressing solidarity and condemning the blatant Iranian attack. This unique display of international solidarity transformed the attack into a global message of support, reflecting the UAE's standing in the eyes of the world and the affection people have for it.
