Jassem Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed the Council's strongest condemnation of the "heinous and blatant" Iranian missile attacks on the territories of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and Jordan, in flagrant violation of their sovereignty.

In a related context, Al-Budaiwi emphasized that targeting the territories of GCC states contravenes the provisions of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the principles of good neighborliness, and is unacceptable under any pretext or justification. He stressed that Iran must immediately cease any escalatory actions that undermine regional security and stability.

He affirmed the solidarity of all GCC states and their unified stance against these attacks, pledging to provide all their resources to support any measures taken by these states to defend their sovereignty, security, and national interests, while reserving their right to respond and defend themselves in accordance with the principles of the Charter of the United Nations.

The Secretary-General warned of the grave consequences of this unjustified escalation, which threatens the security and stability of the region, explaining that the GCC states have always been strong advocates for maintaining peace, security, and regional stability for the benefit of all the region's peoples.
