| Indian Companies Continue to Lead in Membership with 13,850 Companies |
3,754 New Egyptian Companies Register with Dubai Chamber of Commerce in 9 Months
A report issued by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, revealed that the number of new Egyptian companies registered as members during the first nine months of this year reached 3,754, representing a 4.4% year-on-year growth. This places them third among non-Emirati companies joining the chamber.
Indian companies continued to lead the list of new non-Emirati companies joining the chamber during the first nine months of 2025, with 13,851 new members, a 13.9% year-on-year increase. Pakistan came in second place with 6,850 new companies, a 13.1% year-on-year increase.
Bangladeshi companies achieved 31.1% year-on-year growth, with 2,190 new Bangladeshi companies joining the Chamber during the first nine months of the year, ranking fourth. The United Kingdom came in fifth with 2,071 new companies joining, representing 9.5% year-on-year growth, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Syria ranked sixth with 1,403 new companies joining the Dubai* Chamber of Commerce during the first nine months of this year.
Chinese companies secured seventh place with 1,143 new companies* joining, reflecting 2.6% year-on-year growth. Jordan ranked eighth with 976 new companies joining.
Turkey came in ninth with 968 new companies, representing 2.5%* growth, while the United States ranked tenth with 788 new companies joining.
As for the sectoral distribution of new companies joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce during the first nine months of 2025, the wholesale and retail trade sector ranked first, accounting for 35.9% of the new members' activities during this period.
This was followed by the real estate, leasing, and business services sector at 34.7%, and the construction sector in third place at 17.2%. The social and personal services sector came in fourth at 7.7%, while the transport, storage, and communications sector ranked fifth at 7.6% of the new members' activities during this period.
