Emirati company Meraas awards a AED 2 billion contract to Arabian Construction Company
Meraas, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding Properties, announced the award of a contract worth over AED 2 billion to Arabian Construction Company for the construction of the Design Quarter project in Dubai Design District.
The apartments are distributed across three buildings (one low-rise building and two high-rise buildings), connected by a podium that serves as a meeting point for residents of the three buildings, according to the Emirates News Agency.
The project, which consists of 558 apartments, is scheduled for completion in mid-2027. The Design Quarter project will include underground parking for the residential area, to maintain a car-free and pedestrian-friendly development.
