$125 million: A record-breaking reward for the Club World Cup champion!

FIFA has announced the system for distributing the rewards for the Club World Cup, allocating a total prize of $1 billion to the 32 participating clubs.

The revenue distribution system for the 2025 Club World Cup includes $475 million for sporting performance and $525 million for participation. The amount allocated for sporting performance is distributed starting from the group stage (where each team plays three matches), with $2 million distributed to each club for each win and $1 million distributed to each club for each draw, according to the German news agency DPA.

In the round of 16, each club receives $7.8 million, while each club in the quarter-finals receives $13.12 million, the semi-finals receive $21 million, and the final receives $30 million, while the champion receives $40 million. The $525 million prize pool is divided into three categories: each participating club from Europe receives between $12.8 million and $38.19 million, based on a ranking based on sporting and commercial criteria.

As for South American clubs, each participating club receives $15.21 million for their participation, while each participating club from North and Central America and the Caribbean receives $9.55 million, the same as each participating club from Asia and Africa. Each participating club from Oceania receives $3.58 million.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said: "The distribution system for the Club World Cup reflects the pinnacle of football, representing the largest prize pool ever allocated for a seven-match tournament, from the group stage through the knockout stages to the final, with the winning team set to receive a cash prize of $125 million."

Infantino continued: "In addition to the prize money allocated to the participating teams, there is also an unprecedented solidarity investment program through which we aim to allocate an additional financial amount of no less than $250 million to benefit football around the world."
