His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Ain Region, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Council for the Security of Ports and Borders, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, attended the graduation ceremony of the 49th batch of officer candidates at Zayed II Military College in Al Ain.


His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum congratulated the graduates on their excellence and the commitment they showed during their academic studies that qualified them for this excellence, calling on them to maintain the approach of commitment in their practical lives as they join the ranks of the armed forces, to always be a model and example in serving the nation, working to raise it, preserve its capabilities, enhance its achievements, and raise its flag in all forums as a symbol of the pride of our country and the pride and dignity of its noble people.


Addressing the graduates, His Highness said: "Know that success is not a finish line... but rather a path fraught with work, diligence and continued giving for all who seek excellence... Make your self-confidence your provision on the path to excellence, adhering to your values ​​and being loyal to your country... for you are partners in laying the foundations of its future."


His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised Zayed II Military College and its great role as a factory for men and a high-level scientific edifice, and a beacon for preparing generations of leaders loyal to the country and instilling in them the values ​​of pride, loyalty, belonging, dedication to performing duty and mastery in carrying out tasks, expressing his wishes for all those in charge of the college for further success and prosperity in continuing to carry out their lofty national mission.


His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said in a post on the social media platform "X": "During the graduation of a number of officer candidates from Zayed II Military College today.. The Emirates.. A hand that builds.. And a hand that protects.. May God protect the homeland.. And perpetuate its glory and honor."


The graduation ceremony began with the arrival of His Highness, the patron of the ceremony, to the main platform where the national anthem was played. After that, His Highness the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, accompanied by the College Commander, inspected the graduates' lineup.


The attendees listened to verses from the Holy Quran, then His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum watched the military parade presented by the graduates as they passed in front of the main platform to greet His Highness and the guests of the ceremony, where the parade was followed by the graduates taking the oath of allegiance.


The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, His Excellency Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, senior officers and officials of the Ministry of Defence.


Brigadier Abdullah Mohammed Al Dhaheri, Commander of the College, delivered a speech in which he welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the attendees. He said that the Union needs a force to protect it and safeguard its gains by preparing a generation of officers capable of protecting the nation and defending its lands and sanctities. He pointed out that the clear strategy and determination of loyal men were behind the transformation of Zayed II Military College into a tributary of the nation’s pride and strength, noting the continuous support provided by the wise leadership to develop and qualify national cadres in the armed forces.


The Commander of the College praised the efforts made by the graduates during their training period, which included advanced academic and military programs that aimed to prepare them to be highly efficient officers capable of performing their duties in serving the nation with all competence and competence.


Brigadier Abdullah Al Dhaheri addressed the college graduates, saying: "Today, you have become part of the strong fortress of the union, representing a source of pride and glory for your country." He concluded his speech by congratulating the graduates from the UAE and their brothers from sisterly and friendly countries on their graduation, wishing them continued success and prosperity.


At the end of the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored the outstanding graduates, expressing his pride and appreciation for the distinguished level demonstrated by the sons of the nation, as His Highness pointed out that the college carries a bright history for its students and graduates to be proud of, wishing them all success in their military career and practical life.


The honorees included the officer candidates: Khalid Al Ahbabi, Hood Al Shaibani (Sultanate of Oman), Mohammed Al Habsi, Mohammed Zaid (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan), Abdullah Al Mansouri, Mohammed Al Ketbi, Saeed Al Afari, Saif Al Dahmani, Omar Al Hosani, and Saleh Al Ameri.


In conclusion, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum took commemorative photos with the graduates of the 49th batch of officer candidates.
