The UAE's Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence has implemented the 53rd airdrop of humanitarian and relief aid, continuing the country's ongoing efforts to support Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as part of the “Birds of Goodness” operation.
Targeting families in isolated areas that are difficult to reach, the airdrop delivered 80 tonnes of food and relief supplies, bringing the total amount of aid dropped since the launch of the Birds of Goodness operation to 3,623 tonnes.
The aid delivery underscores the UAE’s commitment to easing the suffering of Palestinians and meeting their essential needs.
The UAE carried out its 51st and 52nd drops of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip as part of Birds of Goodness operation.
According to the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence, the total amount of aid dropped since the launch of the operation has now reached 3,544 tonnes of food and relief supplies after two separate drops, on Thursday and Friday evening, were confirmed.
The aid drops are part of efforts to help families stranded in parts of the Gaza Strip that are difficult to reach by road. Packages comprised food items and essential supplies to cope with the challenging conditions faced by besieged residents, as part of the UAE's continuing humanitarian support for the Palestinian people.
