The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has finalized preparations to send a vital shipment of winter clothing to the Gaza Strip, bolstering UAE efforts under the 'Gallant Knight 3' humanitarian operation. This timely aid addresses the urgent need for warmth during the region's harsh winter.
The Authority explained that 400,000 winter jackets, manufactured in Egypt, will be delivered to El Arish for logistical arrangements before entering Gaza.
The ERC further procures blankets, heaters, and winter gloves to support Palestinian children and families facing significant hardship.
By actively monitoring transportation, the ERC aims to swiftly distribute this winter package, easing the suffering of vulnerable populations, particularly children, who comprise nearly half of Gaza's residents.
