The Emirates Cancer Society "ECS" participated in the charity exhibition on the occasion of "Back to School" initiative, organized by Elite Middle East Exhibitions and Conferences.
The exhibition included the distribution of school bags and supplies to students from needy families, and cancer patients registered in ECS lists and records.
The exhibition also included the sale of school supplies and stationery at nominal prices to the visitors of the exhibition. The opening ceremony of the two-day exhibition was held at the Al Ain Exhibition and Convention Centre in Al Khabaisi.
ECS Chairman, Salem Mohammed bin Rakad Al-Ameri, said that "Emirates Cancer Society is keen every year at the beginning of the school year to launch the initiative (Your school bag with us), through its branches across the country where supplies and school bag are distributed to deserving students from needy families.
The initiative reflects social solidarity in its best form to support cancer patients and comes within the framework of cooperation with charities and businessmen, Al-Ameri added.
