ALQST for Human Rights, founded in August 2014 by dissident Saudi officer Yahya Assiri, has been using defamatory tactics against Arab states, particularly Saudi Arabia.
The London-based founder Assiri tended to spread false news, disseminate misleading information to discredit Saudi crown prince Mohamed Bin Salman in the public eye under calls for democratic governance.
But these defamatory maneuvers and malpractices were revealed when ALQST sided with Canada in the well-known crisis between the two countries years ago.
The Brotherhood solidarity that characterized the work of ALQST has also given way to doubt and suspicion, especially with its funding countries, Qatar and Turkey launching relentless social media campaigns using visual materials and occasional protests.
In an attempt to antagonize the world against Saudi Arabia, ALQST has publicly called for more international pressure on Riyadh, and has threatened the kingdom’s princes with governmental decisions of repression.
This is how ALQST worked to spread its destructive schemes under the cover of defending human rights, allegedly providing support to victims of freedom abuses in Saudi Arabia.
Now, it is well known that AQST has become a hidden arm of Muslim Brotherhood that extends to tamper with the stability of Arab nations and spread devastation and destruction.
On the other hand, the EU welcomed reforms taking place in Saudi Arabia, and noted that “significant steps” have been made to advance women’s rights in the Kingdom.
The appreciation came in a press release by the EU External Action Service, the EU’s diplomatic service, on Tuesday, following dialogue between Saudi Arabia and the EU in Brussels on Monday on a wide range of topics.
