Abu Dhabi Police Celebrates International Workers' Day
The Abu Dhabi Police General Command celebrated International Workers' Day at an event held at the Martyr's Theatre. This celebration reflects the force's commitment to promoting appreciation and respect for workers and highlighting their vital role in the UAE's sustainable development.
The UAE observes this occasion under the slogan "One Family... One Nation," emphasizing the unity and cohesion of society and acknowledging the contributions of all those who help build and advance the nation.
Brigadier Saif Saeed Al Shamsi, Director of the Ceremonies and Public Relations Department, affirmed that organizing this event is a tribute to the significant efforts of workers across various sectors.
He noted Abu Dhabi Police's dedication to instilling respect and appreciation for this important segment of society and fostering a safe and healthy work environment for them, in line with the UAE's focus on prioritizing human well-being.
For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Sultan Abdullah Bawazir, Deputy Director of the Protocol and Public Relations Department, explained that the event included a number of awareness and educational activities focused on promoting occupational health and safety concepts, raising awareness of preventive measures in work environments, and providing advice and guidance that contribute to maintaining worker safety and reducing occupational hazards.
He emphasized the importance of continuing to implement awareness initiatives that enhance worker safety and support their quality of life, praising the fruitful cooperation with partners in the success of these initiatives.
At the conclusion of the event, workers from various sectors were honored in recognition of their efforts, and gifts were distributed to them amidst a positive atmosphere that expressed gratitude and appreciation for their contributions.Related News
