Primark to Open First Store in Dubai

Primark, the affordable clothing retailer, has confirmed it will open its first store in Dubai despite the ongoing situation in the Middle East, which has seen the emirate.

Despite the current situation in the Arabian Gulf region, in which the Gulf states have been subjected to unjustified aggression, the Gulf states have been subjected to aggression.

Primark, owned by London-listed Associated British Foods and its franchise partner, Alshaya Group, will open the store in The Dubai Mall.

Primark and Alshaya plan to open two more stores in Dubai: one in City Centre Mirdif in April and another in Mall of the Emirates in May. Primark and Alshaya Group also plan to open stores in Bahrain and Qatar by the end of the year.

Primark entered the Middle East market with a store in Kuwait, which opened in October 2025. As of the end of January, Primark operated approximately 475 stores in 18 countries across Europe, the Middle East, the UK, and the US.
