Under the patronage of Mohammed bin Rashid, the Billion Followers Summit kicks off in Dubai
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the fourth edition of the Billion Followers Summit 2026, the world's largest summit in the content industry economy, will commence on Friday. Organized by the UAE Government Media Office and hosted by the United Arab Emirates, the three-day summit in Dubai is themed "Meaningful Content."
Record-breaking figures: 3.5 billion followers under one roof
The fourth edition of the summit will witness double the momentum with an attendance exceeding 30,000 people and the participation of more than 15,000 content creators and leading Arab and international influencers. Over 500 speakers, representing more than 3.5 billion followers, will participate. The summit will also host 150 CEOs and global experts in its sessions and dialogues, creating the largest interactive forum for exchanging ideas and knowledge, sharing experiences and expertise, and exploring the challenges, prospects, and trends of the knowledge industry and digital media sector.
Three Main Tracks: Economy, Content, and Technology
The Billion Followers Summit offers over 580 keynote sessions, roundtables, interactive dialogues, workshops, debates, and inspirational speeches, all focusing on three main tracks: economy, content, and technology.
Experts and specialists from leading regional and international companies specializing in digital media, social media, and technology, along with some of the most prominent influencers and social media celebrities from the region and around the world, will share their inspiring experiences and expertise on the most important trends and paths digital media is taking, best practices in the sector, and highlight the latest developments in the world of business, economics, investment, and content creation.
Al Gergawi: UAE a Global Capital of Creativity
Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs, affirmed that the Billion Followers Summit, the world's largest event for content creators, solidifies the UAE's position as a destination and capital for content creation, opening new horizons for creativity and growth.
He noted that in just four years, the UAE has successfully redefined the role of digital power in serving societies through its motto, "Meaningful Content," and has strengthened its leading position as a global media hub that provides a creative and exemplary environment for attracting, launching, and growing major, innovative, and future-oriented projects in this field.
Global Stars in Dubai: Will Smith, Lara Trump, and Mohamed Alabbar
The One Billion Followers Summit agenda includes sessions featuring officials, leading influencers, and prominent international celebrities. The first day's events include a session for the "1 Billion Acts of Kindness" campaign, featuring Saeed Al Attar, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives; Sunny Varkey, founder of the Varkey Foundation; James Steven Donaldson, known as "Mr. Best," owner of the world's largest YouTube channel and a pioneer in large-scale, high-impact content; and Jeffrey Hausenbold, CEO of Best Industries.
The panelists will discuss how the impact of content creation can bring about tangible change in real life, the inspiring model offered by the "1 Billion Acts of Kindness" campaign, and how community work can be transformed into a powerful force through the creator economy, enhancing the ability of meaningful content to effect positive change in societies, cultures, and lives. During the session, the names of the ten creators who will lead the global social movement alongside Mr. Beast will be revealed.
The first day's agenda also includes a conversation with Max Amini, the internationally renowned Iranian-American comedian, producer, director, and podcaster.
