The American media personality and businesswoman said last Saturday that Dubai is an amazing global hub and has made the Middle East more attractive to the world. She added that the UAE represents a bridge connecting the West and the Middle East, and is a global hub in many sectors, successfully combining culture, safety, and beauty.

She noted that the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies and the difficulty in distinguishing between real and fake information are amplifying public concerns about its future use, including its potential impact on elections.

She pointed out that the media landscape is undergoing a rapid transformation, with declining public trust in traditional media and the rising role of digital platforms and independent journalists. She believes that artificial intelligence and social media require a degree of legislation, especially to protect children, according to the Emirates News Agency.

During a session titled "Media and Influence" at the fourth edition of the Billion Followers Summit, she added that US President Donald Trump contributed to exposing what she described as the "bias of traditional media in the United States," prompting a large segment of the public to seek alternative sources of information.

She noted that one of Donald Trump's strengths in the last election was that he didn't limit himself to appearing on Fox News or CNN, but rather turned to unconventional platforms like podcasts, which enabled him to reach new audiences.

She said that as a media professional and influencer, she gathers her information from multiple sources, combining traditional media and independent journalists, emphasizing that these individuals have become part of the White House press corps, given the decline in public trust in traditional media.

She added: Despite all the talk about the hate that spreads through social media and the extent of the harm it can cause, there are indeed wonderful people, from podcast creators to independent journalists, who are doing outstanding professional work.

She warned of the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies, pointing out that The difficulty in distinguishing between what is real and fake, she noted, adding that she supports legislation aimed at curbing the misuse of these technologies.

She revealed that her children do not use screens at home and have no access to social media platforms, emphasizing that this has encouraged them to read and engage in direct social and human interaction.

She explained that President Donald Trump writes his own posts on TruthSocial and X, stressing that credibility is a fundamental element in building trust with the public. People crave authenticity and truth, whether they like it or not, and this is one of the reasons why many are drawn to Donald Trump—he is the same person on and off camera.
