With a Proactive Vision, the UAE Shapes the Features of Government Priorities

Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, affirmed that the UAE, with its proactive leadership vision and the directives of its wise leadership, continues to solidify a unique government model based on integration and a unified team spirit. This model relies on anticipating the future, transforming challenges into opportunities, and enhancing readiness for the next phase through flexible government priorities that keep pace with global developments and achieve societal impact.

This came during the proceedings of the Upcoming Government Priorities Forum, organized by the Government Accelerators Center at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, with the participation of more than 40 federal entities. Also in attendance were Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Huda Al Hashimi, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategy.

Mohammed Al Gergawi stated that "the next phase for the UAE is characterized by accelerating the shift towards high-quality projects and policies within more impactful government priorities, in line with a new phase of economic growth."

He also affirmed, "The directives of our wise leadership are to keep pace with changes and prepare for a phase of more rapid economic, social, and developmental growth."

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized that the accelerating global challenges necessitate developing government thinking tools and redefining the concepts of excellence and competitiveness to align with global transformations.

He explained that joint working groups are leading the design and implementation of transformative and high-quality projects, based on integration between entities and expedited completion. This will enhance the country's readiness for the next phase, achieve a tangible positive impact on society, and contribute to consolidating the UAE's global leadership.

Upcoming Government Priorities to Enhance Future Readiness

The forum featured a comprehensive review of a set of upcoming government priorities, presented in two main phases. The first phase focused on evaluating current government projects according to impact and priority criteria, while the second phase was dedicated to developing integrated models for joint government projects that support the achievement of the objectives of the next phase.

Participants also discussed reprioritizing government initiatives to keep pace with global changes and enhance the UAE's readiness through high-quality projects focused on future growth opportunities. They also reviewed methodologies for accelerating implementation and efficiently directing resources towards the most impactful initiatives.

The forum also featured presentations of key transformative projects reflecting the UAE's approach to turning challenges into opportunities. It showcased existing projects that have achieved a positive national impact and new initiatives developed based on promising growth opportunities in vital sectors.
