President El-Sisi Attends Grand Egyptian Museum Opening with Kings, Princes, and Heads of State

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will inaugurate the Grand Egyptian Museum this evening, Saturday, November 1, 2025, marking an 
exceptional event in the history of culture and human civilization. 

Seventy-nine official delegations are scheduled to participate in the opening ceremony, including 39 delegations headed by kings, princes, heads of state, and heads of government, reflecting the international community's interest in Egypt's ancient civilization and the unique cultural and humanitarian role Egypt plays.

Grand Egyptian Museum Opening

The official spokesperson for the Presidency stated that kings, queens, crown princes, and members of royal families from Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Luxembourg, Monaco, Japan, and Thailand are scheduled to participate in this historic event.

The presidents of Djibouti, Somalia, Palestine, Portugal, Armenia, Germany, Croatia, Cyprus, Albania, Bulgaria, Colombia, Equatorial Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Eritrea, and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta will also participate, as well as the head of the Libyan Presidential Council and the head of the Yemeni Leadership Council.

Details of the Grand Egyptian Museum Opening

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson, added that the prime ministers of Greece, Hungary, Belgium, the Netherlands, Kuwait, Lebanon, Luxembourg, and Uganda will also participate in the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum.

This will be in addition to high-level ministerial and parliamentary attendance from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Qatar, Morocco, Tunisia, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Slovakia, Austria, the United Kingdom, France, the Vatican, Malta, Romania, Russia, Ireland, Serbia, Turkey, Italy, Singapore, India, Kyrgyzstan, China, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Zambia, Angola, Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, South Africa, Gabon, Chad, Kenya, Rwanda, Togo, Brazil, Canada, and the United States.

The official spokesperson noted that regional and international organizations will also be represented by the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, and the High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations, representing the Secretary-General of the United Nations. 

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, the President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and several heads and representatives of major international companies will also participate.

The official spokesperson stated that this unprecedented representation and attendance at the opening of the world's largest museum dedicated to a single civilization reflects international interest in Egypt's vision of combining the richness of the past with the creativity of the present and the prosperity of the future. It also underscores Egypt's unique position as a cultural bridge between all the world's peoples who cherish culture and peace.
