Economic expert Dr. Bilal Shoaib said that the volume of investments between Egypt and the UAE exceeds $39 billion, making it the largest strategic partner and investor in the Egyptian market.

Economic expert Bilal Shoaib also pointed out that there is already existing trade exchange between the two countries, estimated at no less than $10 billion. Analyzing these figures, we find that Egypt's exports to the UAE exceed its imports, making it an important economic partner for the Egyptian market and products. Shoaib indicated that both countries aim to expand this trade exchange and investment, especially since the heads of Arab states are seeking to implement a plan called the "Common Arab Market," and that "the time has come to begin implementing the first phases of this plan."

Shoaib added that with the challenges of food and energy security, increasing military tensions, and climate crises, the need for such Arab partnerships is growing. The US tariff war has automatically stimulated trade in the Middle East and highlighted the Arab community's need for economic and political solidarity, given that Arab economies are vastly different and diverse.

Shoaib emphasized that the two countries' cooperation creates strategic balance and stability, and Egypt is a key country in its regional environment. Therefore, cooperation with it adds centers of power in a world that only recognizes the centers of power of individual countries. The solidarity of Arab countries increases the chances of achieving peace and, consequently, stability, expansion, and economic growth.
