Successful Development of Oil Well to Produce 4,100 Barrels of Oil Equivalent per Day in Egypt

The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources stated in a press release on Monday that, as part of the implementation of the first strategic pillar, which aims to maximize domestic petroleum production, companies in the sector are continuing their tireless efforts to increase production rates to secure the country's energy needs.

According to the ministry, Agiba Petroleum Company announced its success in bringing the "Arcadia-28" well into production, which targets the "Carboniferous Mosques" formation. This was achieved after implementing a precise acid treatment process on July 19, 2025, using modern technologies similar to those applied to the "Iris" well.

An Egyptian petroleum company successfully brought a well into production at a rate of 4,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day. It indicated that these efforts resulted in achieving a daily production rate of approximately 4,100 barrels of oil equivalent, representing a significant addition to the company's daily production capacity and reflecting the success of the development plans implemented by the company in its concession areas.
