Dubai Humanitarian Foundation dispatches WHO aid convoy to Lebanon
Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Dubai Humanitarian Foundation dispatched an aid convoy to Lebanon.
The convoy is carrying 21.5 metric tons of essential medical supplies to support displaced people in Lebanon amidst the ongoing crisis. The convoy departed on Friday, March 20, 2026, and is expected to arrive within a few days.
This shipment, drawn from the World Health Organization's stockpile, underscores Dubai Humanitarian Foundation's ongoing commitment to effective humanitarian response. The convoy includes a range of vital medicines and medical supplies to support healthcare services that address the needs of displaced populations, contributing to ongoing relief efforts to mitigate the humanitarian impact of the crisis.

Dubai Humanitarian implemented this operation by covering transportation costs from its Global Humanitarian Impact Fund, as part of its role as a global enabler of emergency preparedness and response. This is achieved through strategic partnerships, enhanced regional connectivity, and operational readiness, all in support of the international humanitarian community and to stand with those in need.
