KSA trade surplus with the Gulf states، jumps 205% in July, with exports SAR 12.7 billion.
Saudi Arabia's non-oil trade with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries jumped by about 205% year-on-year in July, reaching about 5.5 billion riyals, compared to about 1.8 billion riyals in July 2024, according to data from the Saudi General Authority for Statistics.
Total Saudi non-oil commodity exports to the GCC countries rose to about 12.69 billion riyals in July 2025, a 57.8% increase year-on-year. Commodity exports during July included re-exports of about 9.57 billion riyals and domestic exports of 3.12 billion riyals.
Saudi imports from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) increased by 15.5% in July, reaching approximately SAR 7.21 billion, compared to approximately SAR 6.24 billion in July 2024. The UAE accounted for the largest share of Saudi Arabia's foreign trade, ranking second globally after China. The Kingdom and the UAE recorded a non-oil trade surplus of approximately SAR 5.18 billion in July 2025, an increase of approximately 101.5% year-on-year.
Saudi exports to the UAE amounted to approximately SAR 10 billion in July, compared to approximately SAR 6.24 billion in July 2024, an increase of 60.2%. Meanwhile, Saudi imports from the UAE increased by 31% in July, reaching approximately SAR 4.82 billion, compared to imports of approximately SAR 3.67 billion in July 2024.
The UAE holds the largest share of Saudi Arabia's foreign trade, ranking second globally after China. The UAE is a major player in foreign and global trade.
ReplyDeleteSaudi exports to the UAE reached 10 billion riyals last July, compared to 6.24 billion riyals in July 2024, a 60.2% increase. Saudi imports from the UAE rose 31% last July. Brotherly relations between the countries facilitate successful trade exchange between them.
