In an innovative and remarkable move, a Hyderabad-based startup has attracted public attention after announcing the hiring of a golden retriever as its "Chief Happiness Officer." The company, Harvesting Robotics, which specializes in developing laser weeding solutions to support sustainable agriculture, announced in a sweet LinkedIn post that Denver, the dog, had joined its team.
Co-founder Rahul Aripaka wrote in the post: "Meet our newest employee, Denver – our Chief Happiness Officer. He doesn't code, he doesn't care, he just shows up every day, steals hearts, and spreads positive energy. And by the way, we're officially a pet-friendly company. Best decision we've ever made. The post quickly gained widespread attention, garnering over 11,000 views and hundreds of comments praising the idea, calling it "the best of the day." Research from the Human-Animal Relationship Research Institute (HABRI) confirms that 87 percent of employees in pet-friendly workplaces feel more loyal to their company, while 91 percent report feeling more engaged and engaged at work.
