Osaka Expo Visitors Exceed 4 Million
The visitors of Osaka Expo in Japan exceeds 4 million
The number of visitors to the Osaka Kansai Expo has surpassed 4 million. Expo organizers revealed in a statistic that the number of visitors on May 24 and 25 reached approximately 111,000 and 120,000, respectively, exceeding the 100,000 mark for the thirteenth consecutive day.
Since the Expo opened 43 days ago, Friday, May 23, 2025, recorded the largest single-day visitor count, with approximately 139,000 visitors. The total number of visitors from the opening to May 25 reached approximately 4.09 million, and after adding staff, the number reached approximately 4.84 million.
The theme of Expo Osaka 2025 is "Designing a Future Society for Our Lives," with participants sharing their ideas and technologies at dozens of pavilions spread across the Expo site, located on an artificial island off the coast of central Osaka.
The expo will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025, and will consist of the following main pavilions:
Japan Pavilion (by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry)
Kansai Pavilion (by the Kansai Government Association)
Osaka Healthcare Pavilion (by Osaka Prefecture and City)
Pavilions featuring approximately 12 major companies.
"Featured Pavilions" for the eight expo producers on life and society
Pavilions representing more than 60 countries from around the world, as well as several international organizations. More than 30 countries have built their own pavilions, while the remaining countries are grouped into five shared pavilions.
A wide variety of dining options are available on site, including restaurants, food stalls, and dining areas within some country pavilions, serving dishes from Osaka and around the world. There are also numerous shops selling expo merchandise and grocery stores
