Borouge Products Support the UAE’s SUV Industry
Borouge, a leading UAE-based petrochemical company specializing in innovative and diversified polyolefin solutions, continues to offer a range of products that support various industries, including the automotive sector.
On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Borouge and ROX Motor announced that its advanced, lightweight polyolefin solutions will be used in 17 components of ROX’s new ADAMAS SUV.
This collaboration between Borouge and ROX strengthens sustainable mobility solutions and contributes to building a robust and competitive industrial base in the UAE.
According to a statement reviewed by the Washington-based Energy Platform, the agreement is one of the outcomes of the collaboration announced during the “Make in the UAE” 2025 Forum, supported by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, to bolster efforts to localize production and accelerate the development of a future-proof automotive sector in the UAE.
Borouge Solutions
Borouge’s advanced solutions are designed to reduce vehicle weight, improve energy efficiency, and support recycling, in line with the growing global demand for sustainable automotive solutions.
Earlier this year, Borouge and ROX Motor launched their joint innovation lab in Shanghai to enhance research efforts in advanced polyolefin products that are lightweight and sustainable, meeting the requirements of next-generation vehicle manufacturing.
Borouge CEO Hazem Sultan Al Suwaidi expressed pride in the partnership with ROX Motor, which embodies the practical results of their joint efforts in innovating and manufacturing advanced products. He noted that this partnership underscores Borouge’s pivotal role in supporting the growth of the industrial sector in the UAE.
He added, “By leveraging our expertise in polyolefin products to develop lightweight components for the ADAMAS and expanding our research and development capabilities through our joint innovation lab, we are contributing to building a more competitive and sustainable manufacturing sector, in line with the ‘Made in the UAE’ initiative aimed at strengthening the local manufacturing base and supporting innovation in the UAE.”

Rocs Motors founder and CEO Jarvis Yan said that with the launch of the Rocs ADAMAS, the partnership with Borouge is a reality, transforming innovation from the lab stage into real-world customer experiences.
He added that by integrating Borouge’s advanced polyolefin solutions into 17 key components, ADAMAS embodies the joint effort to deliver lighter, more powerful, and longer-range products, reinforcing the technical excellence that underpins Rocs’s “Performance Luxury” philosophy.
In line with the “Made in the UAE” initiative, the partnership underscores Borouge’s role in promoting the “National Content Enhancement” program and consolidating the UAE’s position as a global hub for advanced manufacturing and innovation.
