 Egypt finalizes technical details of high-speed train contract in cooperation with Siemens

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly confirmed the completion of technical details related to the high-speed train contract, considering that this massive project will represent a strong addition and a qualitative leap forward for Egypt's transportation system.

During his meeting with Siemens CEO Roland Busch, in the presence of Transport Minister Kamel El-Wazir, Madbouly noted the fruitful cooperation between Egypt and Siemens, particularly given the successes achieved by the company's projects in Egypt, which are a culmination of the distinguished relations between Egypt and Germany.

For his part, the Minister of Transport reviewed the technical aspects of the final details that the Ministry of Transport was keen to add to the project, in order to maximize added value and ensure full alignment of the project components with Egypt's requirements in terms of training, maintenance, and other matters. He praised the cooperation and flexibility shown by Siemens officials in meeting all the Ministry of Transport's requirements.

For his part, the CEO of Siemens International expressed his aspiration to sign the contract for the project within the next two days, marking a pivotal addition to the company's projects in Egypt, the most recent of which was the signing of a contract for the green hydrogen industry development project.
